Privacy
Cart64 is made by Shiny Gen. It has no accounts, no ads and no cookies. This page lists everything the site keeps. Updated 9 October 2026.
Your game files
Nothing. The cartridge is built inside your browser, on your device. The file you drop in, its name, its title and its contents are never sent to us or anyone else, so we do not know which games you use.
Anonymous counts
When something happens on the page, it adds one to a daily total. Each total is just:

We never store your IP address, your browser details or anything that identifies you, and the totals cannot be traced back to a person.
Page view statistics
The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and load times without cookies and without fingerprinting or tracking you across sites.
The updates email (optional)
If you type your email into the updates box, we keep the address, the topics you signed up for (GBA support and other Cart64 and Shiny Gen news) and the time you signed up. Shiny Gen stores it in a database on Cloudflare and uses it only to send those updates. We never sell or share it.
Every update email has an unsubscribe link that deletes your address from the list. You can also write to support@shinygen.ai and we will delete it.
Other services the page uses
- Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers it to you, like any web host.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces, so your browser asks Google for them.
